Very smart and intuitive. Works right out of the box and can work directly with the Mac OS (no Hippo server required). But if you do want the full app experience download the free Hipposerver for your PC. Works with a number of popular applications including Boxee, Plex, VLC, etc.

I love it and it does what I need it to do. I tried using it with desktop sharing on my Mac but with hippo connect the app launching works better so I am happy. The only issue is: after disconnecting it sometimes cannot find the computer and I have to enter the comps IP again.

All of my PCs and Mac are connected to Hipporemote. Main use is to control VLC and works great!

Works great in Windows environment. I use it with Nircmd (Google it) to link functions (that Hippo remote cannot easily control) to Hippo remote macros.

I find the touch screen trackpad pretty clumsy. I wish the keyboard and the trackpad shared the same screen. The setup and sync between my laptop and this app was terrific. So fast and simple.

Good but plz fix bugs it messes up when moving the mouse

A bit buggy but overall a great app. Works on my ipad1 and IPhone 4. Better range than wireless keyboard which kept dropping out.

This is a great app. I use it all the time to control my Mac and PC. For me, I use it mostly to remote my desktops from a distance and watch web tv.

This app works very well for very simple things, like pausing a movie on your mac, or opening up an app, etc. It is not well thought out enough -- or perhaps not well tested enough -- to be useful for more serious, complex user actions. For example, doubletap is overloaded with two user actions, doubleclick and dragstart. So what about if you would like to drag a file to move it? You cant -- at least reliably -- because you may open the file, or you may start to move it. Who knows what will happen in that case? Not the user, and certainly not the hippo. Why there is no support for tapstart/taphold for mousedown is beyond me -- and beyond the hippo apparently as well. The top, emulated mouse button kind of works in this case. However, those buttons are too small to be useful. Its too easy to make mistakes, and this is a very unforgiving hippo. Drink your own koolaide, hippos, or at least have a taste first before doling it out to the masses. For a simple app, this is probably one of the best options out there, but it is not yet worth the pricetag -- nor the headaches. -M

Great app that just keeps surprising me with how well it works and how much it does. The built-in presets are great also. Totally worth the money I paid for it.
